Professor Dr. Engineer, Islamic thinker and Turkish preacher. Born in the Turkish city of Ard Rum in 1974 AD, his father's name is Khalil Effendi, and his mother's name is Mrs. Najia.
Shortly after his birth, his family moved with him to Germany to work there, but soon moved from there to Saudi Arabia. Halis Aydemir grew up in the city of Jeddah and began his education life at Al-Numan bin Bashir Primary School, but completed the primary stage in Madinah at Al-Imam Al-Shafi’i Primary School in 1984 AD.
After returning to Türkiye, he studied middle school at the Imams and Preachers School in Erzurum, and high school at Erzurum High School. He also memorized the Noble Qur’an at the age of twelve, thanks to him - after God - to his grandfather Ibrahim Effendi and his dear sister Abla Saeeda. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.
Subsequently, Halis Aydemir obtained a master's degree with a thesis he prepared entitled: Signs and News to Advanced Technology in the Prophetic Traditions, and then obtained a PhD from Uludag University located in Bursa in the wonderful saying to pray for the beloved prophet of Imam al-Sakhawi in 2004 AD. After that, Halis Aydemir obtained the rank of Associate Professor of Hadith Sciences with his thesis titled: Nafi Mawla Ibn Omar in the light of the theory of possibility of authenticity of narrations in 2008. In 2014, he was appointed as a professor at Dumlupinar University.
He was Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Dumlupinar University (2015-2020). During this time, he also held the position of Vice-Rector of the University.
Currently he is Chairmen of the Islamic Sciences Accreditation Agency (iaa.org.tr).
And he is a member of the Turkish Supreme Council of Religious Affairs in Ankara.
He is married and has three daughters: Khadija Shaima, Razan, and Hannah.
